Workshop: Psychodynamic Formulation
Starting work with a client means starting with a psychodynamic hypothesis, both of the client and of what will have to happen in therapy for what is wrong to change. This workshop will look at how we arrive at a hypothesis out of the assessment or first session, and how to use, refer to, and revise this formulation as work progresses. We will split the time between seminar and experiential learning. You can bring material from your own work for discussion.
