I graduated from Birkbeck College in 2014 with an MSc in Psychodynamic Counselling and Psychotherapy. I am now a registered member of the British Psychoanalytic Council working in private practice from my home in Walthamstow, East London.

As part of my training, I spent five years as an Honorary Psychotherapist at Central and North West London (CNWL) NHS Foundation Trust under the supervision of Dr Lorenzo Grespi, Consultant Psychiatrist in Psychotherapy. I am currently under the supervision of Mr Hansjorg Messner, fellow BPC member, BPF member and board member of the EFPP.

I provide a minimum of once-weekly psychodynamic counselling on an open-ended basis to adults experiencing common mental health difficulties including depression and anxiety. I am also highly experienced in supporting individuals with a wide range of psychiatric conditions including bi-polar disorder, personality disorders, deliberate self harm and suicidal ideation.

I have worked in several acute psychiatric (crisis) services at Camden and Islington (CANDI) NHS Foundation Trust and delivered suicide prevention training to fellow mental health professionals on behalf of the Maytree Respite Centre.

I am currently a board member of the psychosocial educational charity OPUS (an Organisation for the Promotion of Understanding of Society), where I am the current director responsible for the Listening Post - a regular public meeting designed to study unconscious aspects of social and political life. I also organise another regular meeting called Climate and Democracy.

I have been a regular participant, panelist and chair of the Political Mind seminars, organised by Dr David Morgan, a fellow of the Institute of Psychoanalysis. I have also published various articles in the BPC quarterly newspaper New Associations and the OPUS affiliated journal Organisational and Social Dynamics.

I have a special interest in the climate and ecological emergency and regularly support climate activists pro bono.
