I am an experienced counsellor/psychotherapist located in Holloway and Hornsey North London offering short and long term therapy to individuals, and supervision qualified and trainee therapists and social care workers.

Whether you are thinking of coming to therapy at a time of crisis, or at a time to understand more fully what is happening in your life, talking with a therapist can be very helpful. I believe that challenges provide opportunities for change, growth, and transformation. I will provide a safe and confidential space and support you to explore thoughts, feelings, and beliefs that may affect the way you think about and relate to yourself and others.

In our first session we will discuss and consider your concerns and any thoughts and feelings you have about therapy. We will think about how we can work together, and what you would like to get out of our meetings. Training, qualifications & experience
I run my own private practice providing Counselling and Psychotherapy, Clinical Supervision, and Independent Social Work Services. I have worked in both voluntary/charitable and statutory organisations. I am experienced in working with women, men, children/young people, adults, couples and families of all ages, ethnicity, backgrounds, and sexuality, who bring a range of issues, questions and concerns.

I have special expertise in working with domestic violence/abuse, the emotional impact of crime, the impact of physical, sexual, and emotional abuse. I have extensive experience of working therapeutically with children/young people/parents arund a range of issues including relationship breakdown.

I have the following qualifications:
MSc in Psychodynamic Counselling and Psychotherapy
Post Graduate Diploma in Systemic Practice with Families and Couples
Post Graduate Diploma in Clinical Supervision
Certificate in Cognitive Behaviour Therapy
Qualified registered Social Worker
BA (Hons) in Communication Studies

I receive continuous professional support and supervision and I am a registered member of the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP) and follow their guidelines on confidentiality, code of ethics, and Good Practice (http://www.bacp.co.uk). I am registered with the Health Care Professions Council (HCPC), and hold a current enhanced Disclosure Certificate, and full professional insurance.
