Jennifer Oh
My name is Jenny. I think it is okay to seek extra support. Sometimes we need it.
To my mind, counselling is about you creating a space for yourself. A space for you to explore thoughts, feelings and experiences with a professional. Perhaps this exploration will support you in making clearer decisions or feeling more satisfied in your relationships.
I work in a warm, friendly and non-directive way. This means I will not set the topic for us to discuss session to session. I will listen carefully and try to build with you an open, honest on-going conversation. If appropriate we can speak about your past experiences and how they may have influenced the present. I have a particular interest in life transitions - how to navigate through change in a way that feels good and right to you. I aim to understand you as an individual.
I have an established private practice in central Harrow and have worked in different professional settings, including Mind, a youth service and within the NHS. I have successfully worked with a range of issues and a diverse clientele, some of whom have enduring mental health conditions. You may be trying to build a picture of what the future could look like. I would be happy to have a chat on the telephone to find out more and if I could potentially be of help to you.
