Geeta Gajwani, MSc, BSc (Hons), Reg MBACP – Petals Counselling and Psychotherapy
Hello and Welcome
I offer a therapeutic service that is confidential providing a safe space for you to explore and reflect on your concerns/challenges.
The main focus of therapy is the work we do collaboratively. A majority of my work is influenced by psychodynamic, psychoanalytic approaches. I work with the conscious and unconscious aspects of feelings and behaviour, exploring emotional thoughts, feelings, memories and dreams. This way of working aids us to understand ourselves and others by making meaningful connections between the past and the present. It also aids us to understand and resolve what may be concerning or disturbing us. The therapeutic process provides you with the security that you no longer have to struggle on by yourself.
What to Expect
Prior to starting any therapy, you and I would have an initial meeting to discuss your requirements. This would allow us to get to know each other better and establish what has brought you to therapy, if I can help you and we can work together.
