How does counselling/psychotherapy work?
I provide a safe, supportive, confidential and non-judgemental place for you to explore and work through problems and difficulties in order to foster a greater sense of wellbeing.
We would start with an introductory session which gives you the chance to see if therapy might work for you, and which involves no commitment beyond this first meeting. During this session we would explore what you wish to get out of counselling/psychotherapy and how we could do this together. Therapy may involve developing new ways of understanding and coping with difficulties, relating present difficulties to past experience, and making changes in your life.
My fee is £60 per session with some concessionary places available.
