Understanding and exploring the impact of male sexual violation
Georgina Hoare
Georgina will present clinical work of male clients who have experienced sexual violation either in childhood or as adults and thinking about the impact of this on the organisation. She will explore key themes that are presented in the clinical work, in particular the cycle of perpetrator/victim, feelings of ambivalence, shame and humiliation and the impact on “what it means to be a man”.
